Not too long ago I got an itch – I wanted photos, good ones, of DRL and I. We aren’t that couple that has a million and one arm-extended-say-cheese phone photos of our adventures together. We would be hard pressed to find even a handful of those. What we do have of us together – where I’m not all puffy and post-explusion-of-a-wombfruit – is limited to photos of us at friends’ weddings and our own lackluster wedding photos. Our wedding photos, though properly exposed and edited well, and though they cost nearly what I charge for a wedding now, aren’t awesome by any stretch of the imagination. the lovely ladies of lingua luna
A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with a good friend of mine and the amazing girls that makeup the all female contemporary folk band, Lingua Luna. They frolicked through fields, they laughed, they threw a little mud, but most of all, they opened up and simply LIVED in front of me, and I absolutely love love LOVE it when my clients do exactly that. Caitlin’s Floral Inspired Outdoor Boudoir Session
Caitlin is one of those girls who just exudes warmth. Her energy is absolutely infectious and vibrant and after knowing her for only a few weeks I feel like we’ve been friends our whole lives. Caitlin is, in the simplest of terms, absolutely, incredibly, wholeheartedly Capital F Fun. When she approached me about shooting a boudoir session as a gift to her soon-to-be-husband, I asked her if she was at all interested in shooting it outdoors, as an outdoor boudoir shoot has been on my Dear-God-I-Want-To-Do-This list for what seems like ages, and she jumped at the chance.
