Katie + Andy’s Autumn Wedding

This isn’t  Katie and Andy’s wedding day. At least not entirely. This isn’t their whole love story – but rather a sampling of the happenings in the lives of two amazing people on a cloudy and cold Saturday in October. These are my favorite things – my favorite moments – from their wedding day. A beautiful old church. A fabulous pair of heels. A group of good friends.  A little girl who wouldn’t stop dancing. A game of tag. A giant rock. Sparklers. Food. Two people in love....

Five.

On Saturday Elena turned five. FIVE! My oldest daughter has reached the age of actual childhood. An infant or toddler no longer she’s officially growing up – though, like her mother, her stature would suggest otherwise. Meg+Geoff’s St Paul College Club Wedding

It’s been almost a year since I met Meg. She contacted me last fall to discuss the details of her wedding day – to talk about the day she was planning to marry her best friend, and the best, most wonderful and unexpected thing to happen to her since…well…ever. She wanted to talk about her life with Geoff. I knew the second I saw her that I was going to fall head over heels in friend love with this girl. She just exudes joy and is constantly laughing (even at my horrible jokes!). As she discussed the details of her day, I found myself interrupting to her to practically shout, “PICK ME!” I have no shame (apparently). But Meg did pick me, and on the last Saturday in September I watched as her dream came true at the St Paul College Club. I was so honored to document this day....
