Lindsay is one of my dearest darlingest most wonderful friends, and when she asked me to photograph her wedding I squealed so loud I broke every piece of crystal in the tri-county area. I seriously adore this girl (and her fiancé Ben) and we had such an amazing time roaming around NE Minneapolis last Sunday night. Both Lindsay and Ben ride motorbikes – both vintage Honda Cafe Racers (though Lindsay has herself a badass little scrambler — Vroom vroom!) so it was exactly fitting that they chose to incorporate the bike into their shoot. We also spent some time hanging around Diamond’s Coffee Bar, which is the very place that they first met. I cannot wait for their September wedding! Here are a few (and I mean a lot) of my favorites from our (extremely warm) evening together….

Lindsay has the BEST SMILE in the whole world. So freakin’ infectious. My heart gets happy just looking at these photos. Athena-Your images always manage to capture the feeling of the people, the event, AND the environment. This is NE. This is Love. This is Ben and Lindsay. Nice work. And congrats to Lindsay and Ben. Lindsay- I have a photo of you creating a sand sculpture on a Mexican beach, dedicated to Ben, from waaaaayyyy back at the beginning of your relationship- if you two want a copy of it… ;)
