What is it? It’s dinner, duh. I’ve recently realized I really love to cook and enjoy sharing meals with people at my table. All dinners – unless otherwise noted – will be comprised of food made fresh and from scratch in my kitchen.
When is it? Each dinner’s date, time, and menu will be announced here + via facebook at minimum one week before the event (which will always occur on a Monday or Tuesday evening). Dinner will be served at the start time of the event, so feel free to come earlier if you’d like to watch me cook. It’s messy and sporadic but might be enjoyable to witness. The first five people to grab a (FREE!) ticket via the button below get a seat at the table.
Should I come? YES YOU SHOULD! That’s why I’m doing this!! But, please only take a ticket if you’re committed to attending as space is (obviously) limited (by my small, six-person table). If you get a ticket and find you can’t make it (life happens!), let me know ASAP so I can put the ticket back up for grabs.
Anything else I should know? I live in the suburbs. Prepare yourself mentally for that (and for traffic). I have pets (a dog and two cats), so if you have allergies, come prepared and/or medicated (but if you forget, I have Benadryl and have you covered). All (ideas, opinions AND people) are welcome here. Dinners are a place for us to connect, share, learn, grow, eat good food and have a kickass evening surrounded by open hearts and friendly faces.
Can I bring anything? I know. We’re midwesterners. It’s really tough to go to dinner without bringing something to contribute. So, you can! Please bring your favorite wine or whiskey to share. I will always have sparkling and still water to serve with dinner as well.
What about plus ones? If you want to bring your spouse/best-friend/partner/sista-from-another-mista/personal trainer/twitter bestie etc, and I don’t know them yet, please feel free to get more than one ticket and bring them along! I like meeting new people! If you want or need to bring your kiddos, please feel free to do just that! I have counter space for 3 little ones if they don’t want to sit at the big table, then they don’t need a ticket (but I need to know they’re coming!) and if they’re not big enough to sit in a chair alone yet, bring a highchair/carseat/something for them to sit in or on.
Is that it? Yep! I think so, but if I left anything out, feel free to contact me on my cell at 612.801.4946 if you have questions or need any other info. Other than that, the only thing left to do is click that button below and grab your ticket!
