I met Darielle in January at her friend Kate’s wedding. We hit it off and I was instantly smitten with her charm and warm heart. When she contacted me a few weeks ago to tell me that she had just gotten engaged I couldn’t help but let out squeal and I’m soooooo excited for her wedding next April. Last weekend, I spent the afternoon with her and (her now fiancé!!) Isaac in one of my favorite parts of Minnesota. They are ridiculously cute together and the way they look at each other (when they think no one else is looking) is the most perfect thing on the planet. (And okay, like me, they also happen to think coffee is a food group.) What can I say? These two were MFEO. (Made for each other.)...

Meg & Geoff’s (rain and laughter filled) Minneapolis Engagement
Meg and Geoff are getting married in a few weeks, and as such, we decided the only way for the three of us to celebrate a wedding – before the wedding – was with an evening of raucous laughter, unexpected rainstorms, and an engagement session. Last Thursday evening, in the northern Minneapolis suburbs, the sun shone, the heavens opened, and it started pouring in the middle of our session. Meg & Geoff weren’t phased, however. Not even the slightest bit. We sat down under a grove of trees, and laughed until our bellies ached and our cheeks couldn’t hold a smile a single second longer. Their session was incredibly relaxed and was soooo sooo sooo much fun to photograph. Meg. Geoff. I heart you two, and I’ll see you again in a few short weeks. (eeeeek!!!)...
Lindsay + Ben’s Motorcycle Engagement Session
Lindsay is one of my dearest darlingest most wonderful friends, and when she asked me to photograph her wedding I squealed so loud I broke every piece of crystal in the tri-county area. I seriously adore this girl (and her fiancé Ben) and we had such an amazing time roaming around NE Minneapolis last Sunday night. Both Lindsay and Ben ride motorbikes – both vintage Honda Cafe Racers (though Lindsay has herself a badass little scrambler — Vroom vroom!) so it was exactly fitting that they chose to incorporate the bike into their shoot. We also spent some time hanging around Diamond’s Coffee Bar, which is the very place that they first met. I cannot wait for their September wedding! Here are a few (and I mean a lot) of my favorites from our (extremely warm) evening together…....
