It’s my favorite time of the year – the earth is readying itself for winter’s embrace. Dark, grey clouds rush across a cold autumn sky as the trees shake free their final leaves. Most people think it’s sort of ugly outside – but where others see brown, dead landscapes – I see beauty. Which is why I’m looking to shoot another installment of my Beauty Collective.
This is a project about women – about beauty and acceptance – and about love. The only requirement to be a participant in the Collective is the willingness to open yourself up against your own criticism and see yourself in a new way. I’m looking for approximately 8-10 women for this installment, and the shoot will take place on Saturday, November 17th, 2012 at approximately 3:00 in the afternoon (in the Twin Cities metro area).
